Dinner


A number of options are available for dinner including sets of local ingredients to cook for yourself and a variety of restaurants. You can also buy your own food before you arrive and cook for yourself using our fully equipped kitchen.
Whichever option you choose please let us know in advance of your stay as restaurants and ingredients require reservation in advance of your stay.

Japanese style evening Meal Miyama Futon and breakfast

3200 Yen per adult (1500 Yen kids meal is available).


Using a range of local ingredients this service must be ordered in advance and served anytime from 18:30 until 19:30.

Sushi Stand

A sushi stand will be set up for guests with sushi handcrafted by a sushi chef on hand. Made with various fish unique to the sea of Japan.

13000 Yen per adult

*The sushi will feature seasonal fish. Please let us know in advance if you have any food allergies.
*Please note that the meal will be served at 7pm.
*A side dish and miso soup are also included in the course.
*Please note that an extra charge will be required for drinks.

Chinsenro (Japanese ryokan) Kaiseki course meal

This full course (kaiseki) style meal is prepared by one of the best Japanese ryokans in Miyama and served in our cottage(Please note that this in cottage dining option is ONLY AVAILABLE AT OUR HANABUSA COTTAGE not the other cottages).



Evening meal 12000 Yen per person.


This option must be booked in advance.





As well as having Chinsenro come and cook for you in your cottage you can go to their ryokan and eat a full course (kaiseki) style meal for 7,500 JPY (including tax).


Chinsenro is a 20 minute drive from your cottage.


Children’s meals are available at Chinsenro, please let us know in advance (Kids lunch is 1500 JPY, Mini Kaiseki kids meal 4500 JPY)


Drinks are not included in the price and should be paid for directly at the restaurant.

"Auberge Nakazawa"
French cuisine 7,500 JPY (including tax)


Auberge Nakazawa offers French cuisine also using local ingredients and is a 10 minute drive from your cottage.


Drinks are not included in the price and should be paid for directly at the restaurant.
Booking is required in advance, also please be sure to let us know if you have any special dietary requirements or allergies.


If your stay happens to fall on the day off of either restaurant we will arrange an alternative plan for your dinner.

Sets of Miyama local ingredients
Our staff will buy local ingredients in advance of your stay on request. These include locally grown vegetables and wild boar and deer meat caught in the mountains of Miyama.

Miyama free range chicken nabe set
This set is enough chicken for 2~3 portions with various local vegetables and is 4400 Yen. The set consists of the raw ingredients which you can cook for yourself using our fully equipped kitchen. You may want to bring sauce and other food to supplement this set and you are welcome to do so (we sell sauce for nab and grilled meat).

Miyama wild boar nabe set.
500 grams of wild boar meat (caught in the local mountains) and local vegetables. Serves 2~3 people 9900 Yen. The set consists of the raw ingredients which you can cook for yourself using our fully equipped kitchen. You may want to bring sauce and other food to supplement this set and you are welcome to do so (we sell sauce for nab and grilled meat).

Miyama chicken barbecue set
Serves 2~3 people with 500 grams of free range meat and local vegetables. 4400 Yen.The set consists of the raw ingredients which you can cook for yourself using our fully equipped kitchen. You may want to bring sauce and other food to supplement this set and you are welcome to do so (we sell sauce for nab and grilled meat).

Miyama deer meat (venison) barbecue set
Serves 2~3 people with 500 grams of locally caught deer meat (5500 Yen).
The set consists of the raw ingredients which you can cook for yourself using our fully equipped kitchen. You may want to bring sauce and other food to supplement this set and you are welcome to do so (we sell sauce for nab and grilled meat).
